12 Ways Fresh Flowers at Home Make You Happy
“Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower and draws all good things towards you.”
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
It’s the day before Easter and my house is filled with fresh potted lillies, tulips and hyacinths – thanks to my husband Jim. Being the sweet and savvy guy that he is, he headed to the local market yesterday and grabbed a bunch of them at half off. They look and smell beautiful – and there’s no doubt that they just make you feel good.
But, I knew there was scientific backed research on the benefits of having fresh flowers in your home. And after some digging, I got the list of the twelve proven benefits here. Just keep in mind that even though they are written in a simple list below, (because I wanted to make this post a quick read) the scientific studies on each one of the benefits were extensive.
